My Ass is Numb!

Traveling... Holy shit! Today my ass was in a car seat (not a toddler's car set but a driver's seat) for like 9 freakin' hours. I'm working in Shreveport, LA tomorrow upgrading the computer hardware at one of the company's branch locations.

Waking up at 5:30 is no problem. I'm out of the house by 6:30 every morning just to get to work on time. An hour commute to the office in Montgomery, AL, then an 8 hour work day, and hour commute home. That's my normal 5 day a week routine, but for the next week my schedule is completely messed up. After the work is done here in Shreveport I'm heading to Pensacola, FL. I don't even know how long of a drive that is. Honestly, I'm afraid to even look. The best thing about that trip is that I get to stay in a hotel there on the company's dime and wake up Saturday and spend it on a beach! I haven't lounged on a beach since my honeymoon two Junes ago. Granted, Pensacola is definitely not the Caribbean but the Gulf Shore isn't bad either.

I guess, I'll wrap this one up and see how my day goes tomorrow. Until then...
